A Signature-based Hydrologic Efficiency Metric for Model Calibration and Evaluation in Gauged and Ungauged Catchments

We developed a signature-based hydrologic efficiency metric that can be applied in both gauged and ungauged catchments. We test our new signature on a large-sample of catchments across Great Britain and demonstrate that the new signature is comparable to current metrics in cases where streamflow observations are available. Here, we provide the data that may be most useful for future studies - summaries of model performance scores (SHE, NSE, KGE, NP) for each catchment and time-series of model output for each catchment.
