A priori selection of hydrological model structures in modular modeling frameworks: Results from RRMT

We evaluated 10 hydrological model structures on a large sample of catchments across Great Britain to test the importance of a priori model selection. Our results emphasize the importance of model structure selection based on explicit perceptual models. Here, we provide the data that may be most useful for future studies - summaries of model scores for each catchment from the Rainfall-Runoff Modelling Toolbox, and time-series of model output for each catchment from the 6 different model structures.
