The role of state and trait anxiety in the processing of facial expressions of emotions

This was an experimental study using the 7.5% carbon dioxide model of anxiety induction. Our secondary aim was to extend these findings by investigating the association of trait anxiety with facial emotion processing, and whether it moderates any effects of state anxiety.
