Reid j.p.reid@bristol.ac.uk Raw data file entries for each compound in this study columns are labelled as folows, Time (s), Radius (microns), (Entry of 1), (3x Empty coloumns needed for our processing software), lower viewing angle (degree), upper viewing angle (degree), Droplet Time of formation (s), Light Intensity of the Central Frame (never used in this work) Time (s), Radius (microns) and Droplet Time of formation (s) are the two used in this work for the determination of compound hygroscopicity. File types are File which can be opened using excel, wordpad or notepad. Figure 1.csv etc files All data are saved with names according to the numbering fo the figures in the published manuscript and are in CSV format (can be read by any operating system). No additional software is required. All data files contain self-explanatory column headings. Tabulated values of hygroscopicity as a function of mass fraction and water activity for all compounds is provided within the supplementary information provided for this paper.
