Epigenetic regulation of F2RL3 in vitro in response to exposure to cigarette smoke extract

This dataset consists of a single Excel file '20211223.F2RL3.SourceData.xlsx’. This file contains the raw experimental data generated as part of in vitro work performed in a study published by Corbin et al. In brief, this work involved the culture of two cell types - acute megakaryocytic leukaemia cell line (CMK) cells and human coronary artery endothelial (HCAEC) cells. Cells were exposed (or not) to cigarette smoke extract (CSE) then harvested and F2RL3 DNA methylation, mRNA expression and PAR4 protein expression measured. The file contains both individual level data and the results of statistical analyses comparing exposed and unexposed cells. The file also contains results from a reporter assay in which a series of reporter constructs containing different fragments of F2RL3 to drive expression of luciferase were generated to investigate their effect on F2RL3 gene expression. In addition, results from a chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP)-based experiment are presented.
